We all think of Tuscany as rolling hills and those delightful pine trees
and gorgeous Chianti to wash down Florentine steaks - well that's what
it's like. It's a minefield finding good Chianti but we've been at it
many years, tasting, tasting and even more tasting. Not every year is
good but a good winemaker can make very passable wines in indifferent
years, that's the secret.
There are also fine Supertuscans (Bordeaux like wine with Merlot and Cabernet
added to the indigenous local Sangiovesi grape). These wines develop beautifully
for 20 years +.You'll find some on our List.
